Festival City - KoeHelsinki
What is a city?
Is it a web of roads?
A collection of buildings?
A theatre of power?
Is it inevitable, beyond our control?
We are the city
We make the city
Constantly changing, never the same
Lets build this city
In August 2014, Helsinki Festival will be planting its flag on the no-man’s-land that is the city’s Kansalaistori Square. The square will be home to KoeHelsinki Festival City.
KoeHelsinki is an urban oasis, open to all and packed with cultural delights. Join us for circus, cinema, cooking, festival club or picnics. This stomping ground for citizens of all shapes and sizes will be offering a varied programme throughout the festival run. The majority of the events will be free.
Also found at the square is a café as well as the Helsinki Festival box office and visitor information desk.
