Michael Clark Company: animal / vegetable / mineral

  • Punk and classical ballet clash as this legendary British choreographer juxtaposes extreme discipline with angry energy. Michael Clark’s contemporary dance production is at once arrogant and beguiling.

Clark is known for his collaborations with top fashion designers and musicians. His work tackles the clichés inherent in dance, fashion and popular culture to create a highly distinctive form of expression. The results are always arresting, stylish, and high-fash – the haute couture of dance.
